This past week-end wasn't bad. Eyrin and I went running again Friday night. I guess I'm doing okay with it. I still hate it though. I'm only missing one or two days a week. We usually go out right after work for an hour or so. I do one lap around Chapples walking and then we go around the second time running. I'm hoping that by June I'll be looking much slimmer so I can find a really awesome dress for all the weddings
I have this summer.

Saturday night Eyrin and I played Blitz with her friend Jenny at Jenny's sister's house. She was babysitting her two nephews while her sister and her husband were out for the night. We ended up playing till 2:30AM!

Despite the fact that I was up so late that night I didn't sleep in all that late. I was up at 9:30. Luckily I didn't have choir that morning. This was the Senior Choir's week-end off from singing and the children's choir were taking their turn.

So I helped my parents shovel the driveway after the huge wet snowfall and then we went to my Grandparents to do their drive way. Actually my parents ended up shovelling their drive way because Babcia wanted me to visit with her. So she gave me some homemade soup and we chatted till my mother came looking for me to leave cause she had company coming.

When I got home I was tired so I thought I'd sleep for an hour. Unfortunately I slept for three hours and woke up an hour before I had to be at church! So I inhaled dinner and ran off to church and choir practice.

Practice lasted till just before 10 and I went home and watched some tv then went to bed.

Yesterday was uneventful. Eyrin and I went running. I swear she's trying to kill me! I'm only doing this running thing till the snow melts and then I'm going back to roller blading. Running is not for me.

I was supposed to go over and help Dzaidziu reading over the driving book for his test today yesterday but he didn't want to. So I visited with them instead and we watched Little House on the Prairie cause it's Babcia's favourite show. She says it reminds her of her village when she was a child. Somehow I think it wasn't as great as the Little House on the Prairie world.

Krysta came home from Winnipeg with her friends yesterday. She proudly proclaimed that she didn't go to any bars while she was there. But then in the same sentence mentioned the liquor store. I just tried to ignore her. I don't agree with the things she does and I never will.

When I was her age I had no interest at all in going to Winnipeg just because the drinking age was 18. Personally I think that's a stupid reason to go somewhere. Try going somewhere because it's a change of scenery or to see something new and different. No all that matters is that alcohol is allowed. As I've gotten older I've gotten even less tolerent of it. I just think it's dumb to drink to get drunk now. I see absolutely no purpose in it other than to make yourself look like a stupid idiot. Anyway...I know there are many people who wouldn't agree with me. To each his own.

Well today is a day like every other as I sit and toil away at my lonely computer by the window.
